This piece of work involves a 3 foot high doll that I found upside down in a bin bag, with her legs pointing upwards and her head in a plastic bag. when I spotted her I thought that this needed further investigation.
I got the feeling that she was neglected and unloved, so I wanted to explore this, I took her to various locations around Southampton, UK. and shot photographs of her from the angle of an adult looking down on a child.This gives the photos an air of vulnerability; she then developed her own personality and was given the name of "Belle".
